Don’t think I’ve seen a footnote like this, informing readers the y-axis does not start at zero. Good to see. (I’d probably like to see the baseline year axis so bold) www.bbc.com/news/article...

I appreciate the note, but in my work I forgo the baseline all together when not starting from Zero and just rely on the tick marks along the x-axis to frame the plot. I find it a bit too easy to assume a zero-based start if there’s a prominent base axis.
