A is odd by count, B by shape, C by size, E by color. D has no unique trait, which makes its lack of uniqueness uniquely unique. But being uniquely unique removes its lack, making it normal, which makes it odd again. So, the answer is D. 🙃

There are four properties (Shape, Size, Fill Color, and Count) that each item can match on. Item D matches the others on 3 of the 4 properties. The other items (A, B, C, and E) each match on only 2 properties when compared to one another.
