Here is how I get out of Youtube copyright claims. I use this general format and it works 98% of the time, I swear (just, y'know, make sure you ain't lying and the video *is* Fair Use, and personalize the dispute to be specific to that video.) ✨You're welcome!✨

out of curiosity, do you know if there's a way to, like, contact youtube directly if a claimant denies a dispute i made and now it's asking for my, like, personal information to appeal and saying it'll be a strike against my account if they deny the appeal for some reason?

I've had that EXACT thing happen many times, use that last pic in the future I wrote a Polygon article that got enough bad press for them that I actually got to speak with Google people about it, but there's really no way to contact them and it's bullshit that I only got there by having a platform

The initial dispute of the claim is generally free from risk as long as you're truthful. You're appealing directly to the entity claiming content in your video (most people don't realized this), so it's 100% down to whether they decide to be reasonable or not.

Yeah I have a similar script I’ve used for years. Recently the issue has been copyright claims while live streaming, which is more annoying because there’s nothing i can do in the moment. And there’s not much incentive to fight the claim after the stream is over because i private the vods.

So many artists think it will be cool to use a sample from a game soundtrack, and then register their song with licensing agencies, thus screwing every let's player of that game going back to the start of YouTube. I have had decent success with something like your 4th example, though.

I don't know if it's the linking to the DMCA, the phrase "manually review", or the usage of "we" in "we are within our legal right"(sounds like a legal team), but it works a charm. Claims seem to get released the second someone(or a bot?) reads that and groans and goes "whatever, fine, nevermind"
