Feeling like a genius for looking up Dungeon Crawler Carl images so I can learn I will hate hate hate every moment of this and not waste any money checking it out lol oh so it's just Ready Player One but if Ernest Cline listened to less dadrock and played Portal and Borderlands gotcha

Yeahhh a lot of people have Not My Taste lol. I also don't really take reccs from most people unless I'm like REALLY tight with them and know their taste is freakishly aligned with mine lol

That's how I feel any time I recommend people one of my favorite "monster/supernatural romance" books and I'm reminded that my tastes are a weird mish-mash. And that most books in that category have found mainstream appeal *because* they're kinda sanitized. 😭
