Others may include all skeets from certain users. For example, the What's Science feed includes skeets from any user that's on a set of lists, as long as that skeet includes the test tube emoji (π§ͺ).
The "What's Science" feed is a feed of a curated set of scientific posts, from known members of the scientific (and closely related) community. π§ͺ You can subscribe at: https://bsky.app/profile/did:plc:jfhpnnst6flqway4eaeqzj2a/feed/for-science
Other feeds can be personalised to the user reading them. Some only go back a few hours, while others go back to the very beginning of bsky. I recommend digging into the Discover Feeds page to see what piques your interest!
Okay, FAQ time! 1οΈβ£ What happens when I subscribe to a feed? By default, the feed will just show up on your βMy Feedsβ page. If you go to your βSaved Feedsβ page and pin a feed, itβll then show up as a tab at the top of your home page. That way you can quickly jump between your favourite feeds! β€οΈ
thanks for the detailed explanation, I was already planning to ask you how you did it. Quick question: is the feed a bluesky thing and then hangs in the bluesky app or is it an ATProtokol thing and it would also apply on other client implementations ?
