The interest payments on our national debt have to paid for in actual money, aka, via taxes. ACA subsidies have to be paid for...with the odds of a tax increase under Trump being basically zero, the option is cuts...also, those other billions promised by Biden...yeh, they aren't happening either.

Just one of the "hardships" Trump says "some" Americans may have to face because of his policies. I guarantee no wealthy American will face similar hardships.
