The end of article says they can't use the money and they're reappropriating $8 billion (unbelievable) in R&D funds to pay troops. EoD, WaPo's unethical clicky title asks an unnecessary question. Dump wants you to think his friends are paying the troops when they aren't. Manipulation for everyone

Imagine if you weren’t owned by one of the wannabe Oligarchs & we still had journalism. Every day provides material to keep a legion of investigative journalists busy for years. Democracy IS dying in darkness and you people and your owner are complicit. Weak, cowardly and complicit mouthpieces!

So are the Russians, the Chinese, or the Saudis now paying for the US Army? Or a combination? Don't need to invade a country. Just financially back the politicians who will literally sell their own family to the highest bidders.

Somebody or entity paid our troops $130 million. We Americans are not allowed to know their identity. The Oligarchy now owns our military too? The funding role of Congress is so easily brushed aside.

Well if you ask any of our troops that will receive a portion of these funds I’m sure they will tell you to go fuck yourself. Come up with a better solution

So. Aside from being illegal, what is the money really buying? Wonder if this billionaire also donated money to tear down the White House ☕️🫖 3 more years of this tacky corrupt crap. God give me strength. Go feed a hungry child. On SNAP.

Wait, I can “donate” $100 per Federal employee to get them paid fully? Can we set up a Gofundme to pay for 20,000 National Park Service employees or 10,000 air traffic controllers? I think we can make it to a couple million.
