I don't think Trump has ever had any real grasp on the concept of money, just like he has no concept of human lives. It's all abstraction to him, pieces in some sick game his rotting brain plays. He spends and kills and never thinks twice about how much or why. He just thinks "Big numbers good."

He is spending taxpayers' money on vanity projects while enriching himself and his family. The legacy he leaves will include all the good and the bad. He had a chance to redeem himself, but he chose revenge, chaos, and corruption. He maintains approval from the majority of Republicans.
