It must be nice to miss work for three months with no one knowing what's wrong. Most jobs would terminate the employment. Proof of life and competency or resign!

Shhh. If he stays an incapacitated Senator until the next Congress, Senate Republicans can't easily pass anything, having lost both Graham and McConnell. We want him to stay a Senator. Only MAGA wants him replaced quickly.

Because McConnell isn't cooperating with the replacement process, possibly because the current replacement process is likely unconstitutional *in Kentucky*. If he pops up and says, "Seat's Empty!", that means future Democratic Govs might be able to appoint Dems to replace Repubs.
