Lots of reassuring responses here over the weekend (thank you!) but I'm still terrified by my upcoming oral surgery. I've never been put under before for anything. That alone is making me 🥶

Definitely unnerving, but you got this! I was put under for oral surgery and for much longer for gender confirmation surgery. It's a lil strange but typically fast, easy, and peaceful!

Total anesthesia is amazing. Great stuff. Everyone should try it once. A nice nurse asks you how you're feeling and then you wake up hours later and everything is done and you're kinda silly for a bit.
