And paid £25 per hour the undertaking the role. Which, while not much, is better than all the unpaid committee roles out there.

It's certainly not consultancy fees, which is frustrating given this is asking Disabled people to provide significant expertise. But, as you say, it is much better than so many roles out there. There is also money set aside for interpreters, extra carer hours etc to meet group member access needs.

This paid group will be contributing to new ATE/DfT-commissioned research into safety & accessibility of floating bus stops for all Disabled people walking/wheeling, cycling, using cycling-equivalent mobility aids and buses The research is being carried out by a consortium led by Steer consultants.
