Will this eventually be something folks can make content for by chance? Even if that only starts with just importing simple mesh objects to eventually maybe making a full building from scratch? Is there somewhere folks can follow the development of this + a log of what's available or what's planned?

I’ve been experimenting with GLB/model loading for a later version! I also plan to release a free community version of the prefab that people can use in their own worlds :3

In a later version yes! My placement system is technically already capable of collab layouts but there’s some networking and performance challenges that I’m still working out so the feature is currently disabled
