Had someone comment that $30 headshot was too much, so once again I post this.

And don't get me wrong, I fully understand financial hardships. I know that $30 can be the difference between eating and not. If someone's art is out of your range, you may consider: 1) save for it if you can 2) follow for future opportunities within budget 3) find another artist

4) tons of free opportunities, giveaways, etc., out there. Etc. But no one should be expected to make less because you can't afford it. I know what it's like to have little, to not be able to save, and even when shitty currency conversions make things out of budget. :/

Cost of living index forever increasing whilst wages stay the same, as interest rates soar🙃

Just getting/setting up/buying the needed equipment to make a con table look ‘professional’ and ‘appealing’ is expensive!

Website domain payments + time maintaining the site. Electric costs of all the equipment (a powerful PC can cost ~$10 a month to run. Now add room lights, multiple monitors, etc)

Honestly, social media needs to be even bolder. The amount of time that and interacting with potential customers is so much, and a single bad interaction can be draining. I respect the professional comm artists a lot. I don't think clients know how much time commission artists spend *not* drawing
