yeah. even if so i have a hard time imagining this would be their top priority in january. that said, while i don’t disagree with mike in principle, i think he’s overlooking the extent to which the norm against congress jawboning social media execs has already been shattered

Yeah I agree. There are already 10 things higher and there will probably be 25 more by January. That said, while I don’t think there is a legal basis to actually do anything about it, it would be nice if the jawboning just gets them to come out and say “yeah, this is what we believe and there is

nothing you can do about it” instead of them pretending that they actually do want viewpoints that challenge their interests. Then maybe we can get on with the business of moving to alternatives.
