Everything 45 touches collapses we the people around the world helped collapse Tesla Starlink we can do the same 2 Bezos & Zuckerberg. Bezos made a statement I want me employees terrified when they come 2 work. How about we make Bezos terrified we're going 2 bankrupt him. Show no mercy 2 fascist's.

I would never have a listening device in my home. This administration is using Stasi like tactics to invade private conversations to find out if people oppose Trump and his agenda. Imagine that having a conversation in your home one night and a knock on your door the next. AI is not your friend.

Your phone knows where you are. Google maps knows where you are, where you were and when you were there, when you use GPS. Anyone who believes that information that is input to Alexa, Sure, and other voice-controlled pieces of technology is not being monitored and perhaps sold, is delusional.

Even when GPS is disabled, you're still tracked 2 other ways: 1) The cell tower you use for data and calls pinpoints your location to transmit services to you 2) WiFi - The MAC has the location registered to the ISP for your router. VPN avoids this, but some VPNs release your ISP info if subpoenaed.

That's nuts! But I think our phones listen to us. One evening my daughter and I set our phones on the sideboard while we ate dinner. After she left I got an ad for an item we had discussed and neither of us had searched it. I texted her about it and she responded she also had received the ad. Weird?

Wonderful timing for Amazon to be abandoning any pretext that they aren't recording everything you say (and sharing it with anyone who'll pay them.) Glad I went with my instincts and pawned the Alexa someone gave me as a Christmas gift. Voice assistants aren't worth having your home bugged 24/7.

For disabled people, it can be helpful. For everyone else: convenience & love of gadgets they think will make life easier. There always seems to be a trade-off w/ ‘convenience’ tech tho. Usually at customer expense. See also: social media, driverless cars, drones, Nest, Ring…etc etc etc.

1 - This would not be legal in Europe, so you should make clear this is a US thing. 2 - Anyone who thinks tech companies are not listening to everything via your smartphone is an idiot. Maybe you can write about 2 ALL THE TIME, instead of pretending the tech industry did not already do this...

You should always be asking alexa nonsensical questions making your data useless. Alexa, have you ever seen a grown man naked? Alexa, who is the master race? Alexa, should Bezos be the new Bond?

You know you can make what is sent to Amazon useless for AI or for targeted marketing. Just place Alexa next to your TV and crank up a couple of porn movies. Bezos will get jealous your getting laid more than he, and the data will show that people like pizzas with sausages in their pockets.

Hell, the smart phones listen to you. Ads popping up re obscure topics or items after a conversation with another - even if phone is closed and in purse during said in-person conversation.
