Donald Trump says he had a “great” chat with Jeff Bezos after Amazon floated showing tariffs in prices on its budget-focused spinoff, Amazon Haul. The White House called it a “hostile and political act,” and surprise—Amazon backtracked fast. Trump wrapped it up with a cozy nod: “He’s a good guy.”

When Bezos wouldn't let the Post endorse anyone, he said that he wanted the editorial page to focus on free trade (and personal liberty). It sure seems like these tariffs are something that a free trader would want to oppose and yet he still bends the knee.

Has anyone actually had an interaction with a mob boss? This is what it looks like. It is always called a “great” chat until somebody is “unalived”.

Bezos folds to Trump despite severe supply chain shortages, declining sales and a summer recession on the horizon due to Trump’s unnecessary, self inflicted, tariff war.

Look at his face. Bezos caved sometimes in his youth. How fucking... diluted... as a human do you have to be to look at him, and VC tech bros like him, to not see that? I feel like people like Bill Burr are the last humans left in the US. As Bill Hicks said, it's a piece of shit, walk away.

The funniest part is, Trump has now presented a new problem that he wouldn't have had if he just let Amazon do it. The question of "Hey why don't they want us to see that number?" question. Which, will prompt companies and indies to take Amazons API and give you those numbers anyway.

Trump obviously owns Bezos et al, but he doesn't own smaller merchants who will be destroyed by his tariffs. So, in Trump's "freak out" there is a lesson: ALL USA small business owners should use CAPITAL LETTERS (!) to highlight TRUMP TARIFF COSTS to their consumers. Expose Trump Tariffs!

But look, are we really shocked? Tim Cook, Jeff Bezos, Mark Zuckerberg, and the rest of tech’s power squad went radio silent while their companies collectively bled trillions. That silence wasn’t accidental—it was loud and strategic. www.wired.com/story/plaint...

wired.comWhere Were Big Tech’s CEOs on Tariffs?Tim Cook, Mark Zuckerberg, and other tech leaders refrained from making public statements while their companies collectively lost trillions. Their silence was both deafening and strategic.

Boycott brezos Boycott Zuckerberg All these men deserve to be on the losing end of their actions. They like to pretend they are on above caring about the average person but look at musk. He is losing it not because of the money he has lost but it’s the hatred of the public that has triggered him

Everything they built their wealth on has collapsed into ZERO value for a single reason. Industrial era is over and productivity can't supply what the world can't afford anymore. Populations live on a different planet than what Capitalism created illusion with; Luxury, Property, Electronics, etc.

These guys are the true globalists. Ironic given the Trump/MAGA abhorence of "globalists." And by globalists, I mean people who can pull up stakes at any time and move somewhere else and whose financial interests are unrelated to, in fact disconnected from, Americans' welfare and interests.

they're gonna pay regardless making deals (tariffs) why don't these fools just pay taxes (invest in infrastructure)? same with the #GOP, who make a killing in the #WallStCasino with #Democratic administrations

Hitler and the Nazi Party gained support from wealthy individuals and business leaders through a combination of Fear and lies about Stability! Not so different today, same results!

In a 1990 interview, Mr. Trump said he had a copy of Hitler’s “Mein Kampf,” although his first wife Ivana Trump and the friend who gave him the book said it was actually “My New Order,” a collection of Hitler speeches.

Why did Elon spend $300 million to help Trump win the presidency? Rest assured — it wasn’t about principle. It wasn’t about government efficiency. It was never about making America a better country. Rather — it was about Musk’s wallet. It always was. www.nytimes.com/2025/05/02/u...
