An Australian journalist was shot with what’s been reported as a rubber bullet while covering immigration protests in LA. 9News US correspondent Lauren Tomasi was hit in the leg by a non-lethal round fired by an officer in riot gear. Footage shows the officer turn toward the cameras before firing.

9News confirmed Tomasi and her crew are safe, calling the incident a reminder of the risks journalists face on the frontlines of protests. Protests erupted over President Trump’s immigration crackdown. Trump has deployed the National Guard, despite opposition from California governor Gavin Newsom.

Here it is everybody. The western propaganda machine has admitted it's wrong that the cop shot the reporter. For anyone else though, this article would be Copaganda of the highest order with favorites like "What were they doing there in the first place?" and "Cop saw water bottle, feared for life"

Those are meant to hit the ground and ricochet, losing momentum. That’s how they’re trained. It’s not how they’re used in real life. This wasn’t the protest injuring her. It was a cop that intentionally targeted her. That is assault… it doesn’t matter what’s happening in the background. That cop needs to be in jail now.
