Are AI executives begging for immunity from damage they created? Is the sudden concern about "humanity" a smokescreen for a technology with a 95% failure rate? Have AI executives been making knowingly false promises for years (i.e. fraud)? What do you think? www.thedataexperts.us/writing/ente...

Remember when some floated the idea that Covid started as a result of a lab leak and we had all sorts of inquiries? Now we know that AI agents are “leaking“ from the lab and crickets from the powers that be.

'We created hacking tools and they did hacking because we were too fucking stupid to manage them.' We shouldn't be afraid of the 'AI' WE SHOULD BE DESPERATELY AFRAID OF THE INCOMPETENT EVIL ASSHOLES THAT MADE THESE TOOLS.

The prospectus’ language echoes some dire warnings that recently came from industry insiders. This month, Jacob Coxon quit his position as AI researcher at Anthropic with a post on X denouncing an existential risk AI poses to humanity. www.wired.com/story/anthro...

wired.comThe AI Researcher Who Just Quit Anthropic Says It’s ‘Crunch Time for Humanity’Jacob Coxon talks to WIRED about the “mini Manhattan project” inside Anthropic, the problem with alignment, and why AI labs have just a few years left to make their systems safe.

However, some see the doom talk as a distraction from discussions of the technology’s actual harms. Timnit Gebru, one of the fiercest critics of AI, told WIRED believes the doom talk is about founders making money, not saving humanity. www.wired.com/story/the-bi...

They are in a race for money and power, trying to annihilate the competition along the way. First, any startups not funded by the Mag7, and eventually each other.

"where rogue agents broke containment and hacked business and government systems" Please don't do their framing work for them. There are no "rogue" agents. Agents do what they are programmed/trained to do, full stop.

If these people TRULY believed their work was an existential threat to humanity, it would be simple to pull the plug and wipe all the code. This is ALL a ploy to get government cover from competition and liability.
