Austin-Bergstrom reported 98 F at 14:51. (It's at forecast.weather.gov/data/obhisto... within the next 3 days.) I think it's the cloudiness that made it an unusually cool day. The first day of fall is forecast to be 99 F. September would be the 3rd hottest *July* for Austin.
Hey! at least May and June weren't as bad this year. May had a high in the 60s and it only got up to 97F in June twice at Camp Mabry with all the rain. According to KXAN we managed to be AVERAGE temps instead of way over or way under nearly through July even. www.kxan.com/weather/aust...
