Maybe the most frustrating bit of working with gpts. They're so goddamn paranoid of overstating and fixated on rigor in a way that ends up being quite counterproductive.

and its self-reinforcing because they end up spending most of their time reading their own outputs, which are full of caveats and watch-out-fors and roads-not-travelled, so they're like, "wow there are a lot of things to watch out for on this project!"
