Just finished Nobody Wants to Die. Recommended. Mind-blowing technical presentation and an "ambitious" premise maintain intrigue throughout, despite a story that talks past the player while constantly slamming its own face into the wall. #games #gaming #review #nobodywantstodie

Seriously, character dialogue often makes no sense, with subsequent lines feeling like they belong in different conversations or were recorded at different times. Often the very intentions of the storytellers are unclear, as if it were edited by somebody too close to the concept /

I wasn't even sure if I was supposed to be unsure about whether the character was real or in the protagonist's head. I don't think I was--but the narrative presentation is so muddy that basic story aspects like characterization are miscommunicated. Just, an incredibly, incredibly bizarre experience.
