“Totalitarianism begins when the law is replaced by the rule of violence.” - Hannah Arendt “Fascism takes power by legitimizing violence carried out by unofficial or semi-official forces.” - Robert Paxton “When power loses legitimacy, it relies increasingly on force.” - Vaclav Havel
