I've been slowly building an alternative to SE widgets called slime2 that runs entirely on your computer, no online servers needed you can try out the prototype I made that can run some customizable Twitch chat widgets here: slime2.stream the upcoming desktop app will support both widgets and bots

yea! got a couple of Linux users in the ko-fi member beta testers, made sure that the desktop app could work on Windows, Mac, and Linux

I'm certainly intrigued - I migrated away from SL, and ended up with SE. I've since moved all my tipping away from SE, and I know I can do alerts via streamerbot webhooks, but I still need to figure out goal tracking and on-screen cups.

Do you know of an alternative to SE for donations? I've used it for the longest time because of the chargeback protection, but would switch if there is a trustworthy alternative out there

I'll look into this! My on-stream chatbox has been a streamlabs one I set up probably 5+ years ago (because lazy), so this would be nice to finally get everything local. ty for your work!

Thanks for letting me know about this! It seems really cool and I'll give what I can. It's unfortunately not something I can implement right now, as a YouTube streamer, but I'll keep an ear out for any updates!
