It's not even just that these weapons have literally thousands of complicated parts requiring years to build. The US does not have the raw materials to build these weapons on its own. A smart President would secure domestic REEs, antimony, gallium, germanium, etc. before starting wars/trade wars.

Do US citizens realise China, N Korea, Russia, Iran etc are all sitting there laughing at you.. Ignoring the idiot in charge you tell them every dirty secret you have; lack of missiles to a navy that can't sray at sea. One of the worst things about extroverts - they can never shut up.

Why is it only "a national security issue" when it's to take away our rights but never a national security issue that spending 4x more than necessary to private contractors who deliver nothing means we can never build anything? Oh right, the first doesn't make someone rich.
