Yes thank you again uncommitted movement and @reprashida.govpeeps.us for the gift of trump... 🤔 🙁 @jacobsoboroff.bsky.social

All In with Chris Hayes@allinwithchris.bsky.social

Today, the parents of Alex Pretti said in the nine months since their son was killed in Minnesota, no one in the federal government has reached out to them. “We are here begging for the Department of Justice to do what is right, to hold the men who murdered our son accountable for what they did.”

Trump and his friends will eventually argue that the supremacy clause in the Constitution means that the presidential pardon applies to all state crimes... 🤔

Janai Nelson@janainelson.bsky.social

Reminder: Presidential pardons do not provide absolute immunity. Law breakers can still be prosecuted for state, local and international crimes and, in some cases, face civil liability or other penalties such as disbarment. The pardon might be exhibit A. www.washingtonsun.com/whitehouse/w...

Why not just impeach them and remove them for treason. I guess cuz that takes 67 senators instead of 50 plus the VP 🤔 if we put the six of them them in prison first 🤔 ⚖️♎

ElieNYC@elienyc.bsky.social

Noted radical... Hillary Clinton... now in favor of court expansion. :)

But now he lacks the energy to spell husband correctly.. 🙁

ElieNYC@elienyc.bsky.social

[Wife on phone with fridge repair helpline] Wife: Oh, you want us to move it? Okay, hang on I'll need my husband to do that. Me: [barbaric yawp] Wife: Okay, we're looking at the back now. Me: Tell them I'm very strong. Wife: ... Me: TELL THEM Wife: Yes, my... strong... husnband was able to move it.

What the hell is @ericholder.bsky.social talking about? Blanche was hired entirely because he is willing to do 🤔 people as smart as holder are still idiots about this!?! @marcelias.bsky.social

All In with Chris Hayes@allinwithchris.bsky.social

WATCH: “The fact that Todd Blanche ... doesn't have the guts to stand up to Donald Trump and say, ‘No, we're not going to do this,’ it shows me that he is unfit for the job. He needs to resign,” says Eric Holder on the Trump admin’s probe of Rep. Ilhan Omar.

🤔 well played uncommitted movement CC: @reprashida.govpeeps.us 🤔

Trump is already attacking California's elections, arresting 28 people for voting illegally. Only one problem: they have no evidence. It's all party of a plan to get Californians to vote yes on a voter ID bill. We say NO TO PROP 39!

🤔 was Dijon mustard the official color of that suit 🤔

NY Times Pitchbot@nytpitchbot.bsky.social

(2/X) but it's probably accurate to say that he's got about the same amount of criticism for this that Obama got for the beer summit plus the Dijon mustard. Same ballpark, least. Good thing we've got a liberal media.

... 🤔 Well if you expect Putin to steal the 2026 midterm elections for him... 🤔 Quid Bro Quo

NY Times Pitchbot@nytpitchbot.bsky.social

(1/X) It's striking to me how little anyone seems to care that Trump is openly working for Russia now, that he's openly participating in the mass slaughter of Ukrainians. It would be inaccurate to say that he's received less criticism for this than Obama got for wearing a tan suit...

And @hakeem-jeffries.bsky.social and @schumer.senate.gov still have not mentioned impeachment and removal at least not in any public declaratory sense. How pathetically pathetically pathetic... @sanders.senate.gov @aoc.bsky.social

What if America’s healthcare crisis is costing us far more than we realize? After decades of research, Dr. Alison Galvani found that Medicare for All could save more than $1 trillion a year—and avert more than 114,000 deaths. Read: zeteo.com/p/i-believed...

🤔 If the only penalty after accepting the bribes and killing the Americans for the Republican elected... is accepting the post government private sector job for three times the money, well that's not punishment. How about they get to spend the rest of their lives in prison 😊

That would make all those healthcare executives, lobbyists and the Republicans that dined with them.. guilty of felony murder. 🤔 😊

Donald Trump and the election deniers he’s placed in critical positions across the federal government have attacked voting on multiple fronts. Now, they’re targeting the most fundamental step for casting a ballot in U.S. elections: voter registration. www.democracydocket.com/news-alerts/...

democracydocket.comTrump is building a national voter registry, threatening state control of electionsThe Trump administration is actively attempting to exploit voter registration to restrict access to the ballot.

I think intellectuals have a difficult time getting through to people because they don't just say racist sexist homophobic psychotic morons 🤔

Zeteo@zeteo.com

Botox, loyalty tests, and a fixation on machismo, Pete Hegseth is easy to caricature. But behind the macho posturing and public embarrassments lies something far more dangerous: a Pentagon being remade in the image of MAGA authoritarianism. zeteo.com/p/secretary-...

Have one Justice for every district and have them elected every 8 years

ElieNYC@elienyc.bsky.social

I think that if the court is going to act like a super-legislature, then it should be *treated* like a super-legislature, and tha means every incoming adminstration *should have to* bring with them the amount of justices necessary to have their agenda upheld. That's just democracy, baby. BUT...

And People's natural inclination to treat a psychopath differently than a normal person. The drug addict is doing great as long as they're not doing drugs.. right there in front of you...

NY Times Pitchbot@nytpitchbot.bsky.social

(2/X) There's a complex set of reasons for this. Our media has been conditioned to pull its punches on Republican presidents. And the GOP itself has been cultish for a long time (e.g. "George Bush is a genius"). Narcissists have an eye for how to exploit situations like this..

🤔 They're still covering the 2024 election... Woke is why Trump won...

NY Times Pitchbot@nytpitchbot.bsky.social

(6/X) and they'll wonder "what did media commentators think about this?" And we'll have to answer "Mostly they were more worried about woke."

Well President @aoc.bsky.social can just nationalize Paramount when she nationalizes the health insurance companies, Twitter(X), and the oil companies.. @aoc-media.bsky.social

ElieNYC@elienyc.bsky.social

I'm going to listen to these here SCOTUS arguments on video privacy because I *deeply* want the plaintiff suing Paramount to win. He's probably *not* going to win, of course... but I don't *know* that yet.

🤔 40% of the country stayed home from voting, including the radical left half wits @reprashida.govpeeps.us told to .... 🙁

ElieNYC@elienyc.bsky.social

BUT... what the fuck. What the fuck, man. WHAT IN THE ACTUAL FUCK. HOW IS THIS OUR FUCKING COUNTRY! HOW IN MY LIFETIME HAVE WE GONE FROM C.J. FUCKING CREGG TO FUCKING THIS?????

At this point donating to Republican campaigns is in itself treason. But of course he's guilty of many other treasons... and felony murder by eliminating USAID illegally 🤔

WATCH: Elon Musk has quietly poured more than $276 million into a massive effort to rescue Republicans ahead of the midterms, according to the New York Times.

Maybe they should have shown up and voted for the party that was virtually 100% for abortion rights in 2024 🤔 CC uncommitted movement @reprashida.govpeeps.us

Kylie Cheung@kylietcheung.bsky.social

The narrative that Americans are divided on abortion is a lie to hide just how undemocratic bans are—and convince lawmakers to take weaker stances on abortion. ~70% of Deep South voters oppose abortion bans. I wrote about the implications of this:

This is not some one off poll btw - years of data shows the same. But for whatever reason, establishment pundits and politicos are intent on buying into conservative’s propaganda

Except musk isn't really a trillionaire because he is illegally done more than a trillion dollars worth of damage to the United States. So he's worth less than me. Why is this never mentioned 🤔 @alexgibneyfilm.bsky.social @chrislhayes.bsky.social

All In with Chris Hayes@allinwithchris.bsky.social

Trump’s comments suggesting Iran “take out” U.S. cities are already putting frontline House Republicans on the defensive in some of the country’s toughest races.

Why not just forget all that crap and arrest the corporate executives for felony murder? Put them on death row see what the supreme Court has to save about that... 🤔 💀 🗡️

ElieNYC@elienyc.bsky.social

I think the Clean Air Act *probably* preempts a lot if not all of state regulations. I think the problem is that the Clean Air Act is not properly enforced, and never when Republicans are in charge. I think it's *probably* legally correct that only the feds can regulate b/c pollution is interstate.

🤔 When the lies become delusions

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

I recommend people read this to get a sense of the president's grave cognitive impairment. Trump is either unwilling or unable (or maybe both) to answer the questions he's actually asked, so he just rants and raves while the interviewers do their best to provide structure to his random brain firings

Impeach the Dead worm in RFK Jr's brain 🤔 🧠 🐛

NY Times Pitchbot@nytpitchbot.bsky.social

I don't know if RFK Jr. works politically. He's one of Trump's more popular cabinet members because we are a nation of idiots.

Or Netanyahu let October 7th happen so he could do what he's doing now 😮

NY Times Pitchbot@nytpitchbot.bsky.social

Whether it’s Benjamin Netanyahu empowering Hamas, presiding over a massive intelligence failure that let them kill 1,200 Israelis on October 7th, and then killing 74,000 Palestinians in response or Zohran Mamdani pointing out that he did this, both men have fueled their bitter feud.

You don't need to give AI operational control over the weapons. They could just China Syndrome all the nuclear reactors. 🤔🙄
