a reminder that i got called slurs for saying that linux is what they call “woke” and that DHH isn’t a good guy. do NOT normalize bigots in our tech communities. it isn’t political, it’s just human decency. retract all omarchy funding. be good.

the main thing that irks me is that we all know that a lot of people with money and power are awful people, so when omarchy gets all this funding, people become apathetic. literally was once asked if i would clutch my pearls every time an awful people made tech. and YEAH we should, they’re BAD.

no, tech didn’t have a bunch of vocal bigots until post musk twitter let them be open with their beliefs. it used to be the outcasts, the nerds, the queers, and the minorities making strides and holding OSS together. now millionaire wannabes are trying hard to take over, by any means necessary.
