Not like me. You're not like us. I got on a ballot. W/o you. Hard part's cutting through Billionaires like you & Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, Sam Altman, Mark Zuckerberg, Peter Thiel shouting over US You and all these Billionaires are going to form a party with regular folks at heart? My Cubes, please!

Mark Cuban@mcuban.bsky.social

Just like you Jefferey. If the Dems wouldn't let you run, we would help YOU get on the ballot.

So why does @caltrain.com feel like it's about to rock off the rails crossing 16th ave rolling out of the city? Now that the chug of the diesel has been replaced by a gentle hum of electric motors, irregular tracks are a lot more apparent Hard to imagine High Speed rail running this corridor atm…

Another @sftrees.bsky.social planting this weekend. Last time we had more people than trees and somebody heard me because this time my group got more trees than people! Got all 4̶ 3/3 planted though, ~and~ we had a CCSF student volunteer learning the keys of root management (most important part!)

Btw, here's a view of BayShore station, and it's hard for me to understand the rush to tear down my neighborhood when there's a Caltrain stop still bordered by open fields... fingers crossed we build smart because I want you to enjoy my city too! We're all San Francisco

Bonus: 🐦 this li'l guy singing his heart out to his friends in the Community Greenway just as they were calling us in to get started—

Proud to earn the endorsement of a champion for working families: Secretary @rbreich.bsky.social. Scott Wiener may have billionaires and big corporations backing him, but I stand with working people. San Francisco deserves a representative who answers to the people, not the powerful.

"Connie Chan knows what it means to build a life in this country as an immigrant—she refuses to let our communities be terrorized into silence "She has the courage to demand that we #AbolishICE, defend our neighbors, and take on the #Billionaires and corporations" — Ramirez (IL)

You folks get this Trump Account email today? Explicitly, this is a way for the wealthy to exchange bribes through peoples' children, via a commonly accepted standard exchange. Venmo for nepotism

And yes, the rich already had trust funds and brokerage accounts for their toddlers; that's always been a thing. But this democratizes gift giving to the extent that I can see right wing influencers putting this up with their Patreon and their cashapp. "Like and subscribe and take care of my kids"

Did I mention GoFundMe? Maybe I'm projecting but when I see a marketing line like "money already contributed" I'm thinking if that's not a total lie, who else besides the initial $1000 is already stuffing these accounts? Which proud boy is logging in to a familial windfall from these "donors"?

hey #OpenAI Nonconsensual Science Working Group: describe Dark Matter before you run out of runway. The signal is probably already there somewhere in the extant data…

Oh boy... See, if it were me, the entire software industry would be spending the next 5-10 years leveraging these new AI SuperIntelligence tools to patch holes and fix bugs before adding anything new. Anything new. Honestly, tech should hit the gym, work on themselves for a while...

Jeffrey Phillips@11thjeff.bsky.social

Oh boy! @archive.org is down @enwiktionary.bsky.social is broken I think we're in an Event Thanks AI Bros!

Btw, think about the sheer expense of building bigger fare gates simply to stop people boarding a train that's *already going somewhere* Better system just funds the public good on the assumption that it's extremely difficult to ride several trains in a day. Billionaires cannot over-consume train 😱

Jeffrey Phillips@11thjeff.bsky.social

Took @bart.gov today and somebody snuck in after me, coming out going the wrong direction (oh excuse me, sorry!) It's not my job to fight these people on the spot. Just another reminder that Scott Wiener doesn't have answers. He has technology contracts to award. Vote @conniechansf.bsky.social

Ever had a gyoza crispy so contiguous it's problematic? This came out all in one —12 in one blow! So... yadda yadda yadda, I've got this fresh cheese and a bird in my satchel, and they're asking me to fight some big guy in the castle over there...

Today's wacky scavenger hunt: Go into Gmail app Settings > Data Privacy Or into Gmail web General settings And turn off "Smart Features" That's why you're getting summaries of all your emails these days, and you don't have to let them train on you!

This! Vote Chan! Anthropic and Open AI, along with billionaire Yimbys (who are also big AI investors) are pouring money into Scott Wiener’s campaign.

Vote #UnionStrong Vote for Connie Chan Union workers led the fight to secure our most basic rights and job safety regs. Next up: - Medicare for All - Universal childcare - Abolish ICE and fix our broken immigration system! + schools + homes That's Connie's Working People's Plan

Am I the only one who thinks it's insane that a DA can pick their own judges to the extent that they can completely take one off the bench? Chilling effect silencing any judge who DOESN'T LOVE COPS ENOUGH San Francisco is bad because this 👇 was the "fix" Venture Capital AI Bros sold us 4 years ago

An S.F. judge rejected DA Jenkins’ blanket boycott of Judge Michelle Tong. The court's decision, made possible by a recent California Supreme Court ruling, shows that these boycotts might be coming to an end in California. via @frankiesd.bsky.social missionlocal.org/2026/10/cour...

(SF is great in a lot of ways btw, but "bad" in the sense that conservative politicians are constantly telling us we have to keep voting to clean up the city and make the streets safe. just a little bit more)

I don't even think older workers can compete against today's compressed-air-thruster-native graduates. There was the world before 2026-10-15 and the world after. And folks we are in the second one today. Get with the times, fogeys! Happy Thrustday, Thrustober, 20Thrusty6

Ted McCormick@tedmccormick.bsky.social

I’m thrilled to announce three new professorships in compressed air thruster ethics, compressed air thruster policy, and social impact of compressed air thrusters. we are also headhunting a Vice Provost of Thrust

There it is! Fund me @mcuban.bsky.social ! I have what you might call a certain Awareness of the Situation 😜 Elon Musk has only begun to collapse…

Jeffrey Phillips@11thjeff.bsky.social

So... I wasn't the only one who noticed SpaceX was on the brink of a collapse yesterday... I'm genuinely curious if 10 or 20 more years of AI development will make this sort of Billionaire checkers harder to game At this point sufficient Capital is sufficient. Period. No limits. No accountability.

"Anthropic-backed group puts more toward Scott Wiener An artificial intelligence policy group backed by Anthropic has put another $3 million in outside spending behind Democratic California state Sen. Scott Wiener..." Vote for @conniechansf.bsky.social Not AI Bros and Billionaire SuperPACs

People will unironically say "I want this to be my street" like there's a prize for strugglympics But this isn't for you Key theme here as everywhere: people aren't building affordable for free. Top down is what the market will support

Vote Yes on #Prop40 — Millions of Californians are losing their health care and Billionaires can afford to—and should—pay back to our state, that made them those Billions Hope most of us are on the same page on #WealthTax (No on 41 and 42, meant to foil 40)

I’m ok. Make no mistake: this is an attempt to target political enemies and weaponize federal law enforcement. For ten years, Trump has targeted me with baseless lies and smear campaigns. This is just the latest escalation in his campaign of political intimidation. I will not be silenced.

If she's not safe, nobody's safe. Vote NOW.
