The house where I grew up in Rodenback, Germany. I learned to ride a bike right there in the driveway. There was a little lake in the back where I caught tadpoles in the summer and ice skated in the winter. Now the lake is gone amd it's full of trees. Time marches on

Once again, emailing elected officials to complain about current developments and ask why they're even in office since anything they ARE doing isn't in the interest of their constituents. I see no reason to reelect them, and they need to know that on a weekly basis.

See a negative post or reply from someone and then check their feed; it's usually nothing but negativity. It helps me have compassion & remember that it really doesn't have anything to do with ME, because I'm not the center of the universe. They're like that most of the time & to most people.

Prayer garden update: jasmine trees have been planted, and labyrinth perimeter has been mapped out. I didn't actually put any pavers down. Just mapping it was hard enough. It's hot, and I'm getting old 🤣 but when it's done it will be beautiful & a nice addition to the neighborhood 🩷
