Read this book. I understand what is happening now.

Hanging in there. Reading and doing very tiny (!) crosstitch for a baby sampler.

Happy Barack Obama Appreciation Day. A new hand sewn quilt is taking shape for a wondrous new baby.

No Kings NOLA

I guess I have a Bluesky routine - handwork (these socks are not quite off the needle) and books. Robert Reich’s is so interesting and clearly informative to America’s current predicament.

My NO KINGS:

Hand sewing calm and two mind-expanding books read in the past weeks.

More reading and knitting. Adam Becker’s book explained a lot to me - effective altruists, longtermists.. Who is Government posits public servants as more than trustworthy. I read everything he writes. Knitting with my heart for a new arrival.

Apparently it’s not uncommon to unravel your first attempt at knitting socks.. Try, try again.

This is true.

- More books listened to and the quilt coming together

Again with the books and handwork..starting the Rail Fence quilt pattern for a new member of the family on the way.

My little sign for today’s protest. I’d rather be reading, doing handwork or playing with my grandchildren, but this is something that has to be done.

Experimenting with colorwork knitting and doing some reading.

I have a second hand connection to this Gaza pediatrician. He has no time for politics of any sort. He is dedicated to his family and his young patients. That is all. #freedrhussamabusafiya

This little hat knitted for my grandchild came out so well! Of course it’s the dyed cotton yarn that did a lot of the work.

I'm finding some of the wonderful people I used to follow on the other place and *Oh wow Natee is on here!!* My day is made. And painting with beetroot water!! Just look at that exquisite detail!

#booksky 💙📚 Anyone reading this amazing book?
