I have a 4000 word Uni assignment to do so I’ve focused only on that for the last two days. Now all my clothes are washed. The kitchen floors are washed and the carpets vacuumed. I’ve batch cooked enough meals for the next seven months and the apartment looks spotless. Words 0. So far so good. 🤷‍♂️

The US has always presented itself as the bastion of democracy, the world’s policeman and the greatest economy on Earth. But its halo has slipped. How can America expect to be taken seriously in the future when it chose to elect Donald Trump as President, not once, but twice? The US is in decline.

I’m quite enjoying BlueSky as a platform but it’s annoying the hell out of me that I have 491 followers, of which about 400 are predominantly young women with few followers and zero posts. What’s the point? There’s no attempt at interaction.

I am sitting watching a documentary about the Battle of Britain. Sitting alongside me is my 89yo mother who actually lived through it as a 6yo. How awesome is that? Living history.

Another nail in the Australian nuclear coffin.

I live in a small apartment bloc but have been able to establish a small productive communal garden with raised beds and pots. After 2 years of languishing unloved it is now fully rejuvenated and planted out. It really gives me a good feeling about it being productive again and looking so good.

There is no problem facing Australia to which Peter Dutton is the answer.
