Not me posting more aestri thoughts Oh well this time I was thinking more about aestri and vecna and how they kinda complete eachother in a way that they complement eachothers personalities very well and kinda the thought that if they weren't so overtaken by their personal goals/beliefs <cont>

they wouldn't be blind to the possibility of a romantic relationship as they are now even if they felt compelled to know eachother due to their circumstamces they still recognize their personal goals mean more to them then a relationship would but in some au <cont>

I know I'm talking a lot about this fucking elf anyway about baemar when he meets aestri as a little kid he's so scared and nervous when aestri takes him it's the first sense of safety and security he's felt in a long time but even he after a while can recognize aestri is a little.. off

I like to think there's a moment where he thinks of running away maybe finding a new opportunity a new route to take but aestri has given so much for him and over the years getting to know her he's become very sympathetic for her like no one else has seen aestris truly caring side

On a side note also I think about aestri adopting baemar and seeing him grow up while she doesn't because elf lifespan and she gets scared and sad thinking about the future where she's going to outlive baemar and see him get too old to adventure with her and everything that comes with that <cont>

Like what will she do when baemar can't walk anymore when he can't see as good or have articulation she can't leave him behind that's unthinkable but she can't force him to keep going it would be cruel will she have to stop everything she lives for to take care of him until he's gone <cont>

U know something I don't really ship aestri with anyone I know ive done a couple of pieces that hint at aestri x vecna but I don't think aestri or even vecna would ever work seriously and they both understand aestri is just teasing flaunting ect to me they have a tom n jerry kind of thing going on

Her other troupe mates brush it off as well she's a bard/artist/musician what did u expect but baemar knows more that personally aestri doesn't fundamentally understand people when they aren't her audience/material anymore

And on that note I think aestri understands romanticism perfectly but never personally feels romantic attraction. she can come off as interested because she asks about their hopes their dreams their passions not because she's wanting to know them but rather for material and inspiration for songs

I'm the worst bro I'm just thinking about aestris whole thing being that there must be evil in the world to make good things happen like songs and eventually telling baemar when he's really questioning her about it <cont>
