I did end up beating Star Fox tonight for the first time! Never played Star Fox 64 but even on normal it didnt feel like the difficulty was toned down, I accidentally went for the true ending which was disgustingly hard for a first timer. It was pretty satisfying to do! Will go for more routes :p
