#dailygratitude 26th October. Today I show my gratitude to Walter Koenig who we said goodbye to yesterday at the age of 90. As a lifelong Trekkie, I’m both sad he’s no longer with us but happy he played a big part in Star Trek over the decades. He is now a part of the universe that Chekov explored.

If I wake up in the morning to find that Israel and USA have launched new attacks into Iran, the blame lies with one war criminal ➡️Netanyahu

19 years ago Jeremy Clarkson was filming in the United States South when he said "I honestly believe that in certain parts of America, people have started to mate with vegetables." He was right and they vote! They are about to vote and we can only hope that enough none vegetable Americans vote too🤞

It’s a great pity that Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump hadn’t stumbled upon the North Sentinel Island in the Andaman sea instead of the protected Sazan Island off Albania 🇦🇱

Rumours swirling around that North Korea’s Kim Wrong’un has died. I’m never one to wish death upon a person, but if true I hope it will in time lead to the hermit kingdom becoming more open and less oppressive to its people.

#dailygratitude 19th October- I’m grateful that the oncology meeting was good and informed us of the next steps. A hard few months to come but I have to be as brave as my mother going through this.

I’d hate to see the level and violence and destruction in my home city. It’s local jobs and businesses gone up in smoke; but I fully understand that anger. While the world’s richest man plays Hot Wheels with a supposed fly car most of us can’t even afford to keep a car on the road anymore.

#dailygratitude 16th October- I’m grateful to have had a decent end to the working week and treated myself to a chicken burger and fries 🍔🍟

#dailygratitude 14th October- I’m grateful that with every passing day now we get closer to the American elections and hopefully the beginning of the end of the Trump Crime Families reign of corruption and incompetence.

Israel has forced the UK to close its consulate in Palestine (located in occupied East Jerusalem), despite having no legal right to do so As Peter Oborne explains, our govt offered zero resistance & capitulated completely, leaving Miliband looking like a hypocrite

#dailygratitude 11th October- I’m grateful that the step-daughter is home on a break from university and can relax with mum, grandma and Cookie 🐶

People on Facebook kicking off because they think illegal immigrant’s are being housed in the Ibis hotel in Paignton…. Saying ‘they arrived with suitcases’ turns out it’s a Bollywood film crew shooting a movie on Torquay! This is getting out of hand and is close to nazi level racial hate.

Who is agitating and making us crazy? Where is this coming from. Has nothing changed in the half a century I’ve been here. So called ‘social media’ needs a radical overhaul or just outright ban them. They’re becoming a danger to our society. Will Devon and Cornwall police be investigating this?

#dailygratitude 8th October- I’m grateful that the pandemics did a great job caring for my mum and even though we had 3 hours in the ambulance waiting for AnE to admit her she was taken care of and thankfully home again now after a wee bit health scare. 🙈 What a year this is becoming.

Today has been abysmal 🤦‍♂️ car failed to start twice (I always get it going) but can’t carry on like this. So, my #dailygratitude for 7th October is to be grateful that I’ve booked a full service and hopefully my mechanics can solve the other issues!

#dailygratitude 4th October- I’m grateful to have caught some of the Potters Arf while walking to my mums house (on the course) and seeing lots of determined people run and walk our local half marathon.

#dailygratitude 2nd October- I’m grateful to finally have a week off. Due to a series of unfortunate events, this is my first full week since last Christmas and man am I ready for it. I’ll probably sleep for most of it 😂

#dailygratitude 1st October- I’m grateful that I’ve food in the kitchen cupboard and enjoyed a good meal tonight. Not everyone has this simple luxury.

#dailygratitude 30th September - I’m grateful for living near woods and seeing the autumn colours developing. I’d normally be abroad at this time of year but caring for my mother means I’ll be in the UK for this autumn season and looking forward to seeing the beautiful colours of the woods.

#dailygratitude 28th September - I’m grateful to have a rough outline of a plan for the next 3 months to Christmas. Now to make that rough idea of a vague idea of a plan real.
