just started zero to one (audiobook). So far into chapter 2, it reads like it was written by someone who has never been questioned about their beliefs in a corporate setting and can spew any universal truths (and poor assumptions!!!) as insights. Absolute delusion. Hoping it gets better.

1) don’t do anything but instead start your own company (“All Rhodes Scholars had a great future in their past”), because why become defenders of people’s rights when you can be creating value for shareholders. 2) imitation bad, make something new

Chapters 6 and 7 key takeaways so far: 1) “privileged white men who succeeded must get their due, pls” 2) pessimism bad, optimism good??? wtf? 3) “this book isn’t getting any better but sure let’s oversimplify successes and failures of large organisations and countries because nuances don’t exist”

I really love the cinematography in #Severance. But what I really love are the long and subdued shots of the sleepy town. The diner, the door company, empty parking lots of Lumon, empty streets lined with ice. Damn. I find myself pausing every few minutes and just taking it all in.

#Severance is like one of those really delicious, expensive, limited quantity snacks/chocolates you have at home that you don’t want to open because you will finish them and there will be no more to enjoy later.

You are up to date.
