Let's get it straight: when we want a bike lane, it takes 1.5 years of advocacy and someone dying to get a single block of paint. When Ed Flynn wants a bike lane removed, he just needs to whine for 2 months. Message received, Mayor Wu.

These people are not serious. "How about we expel ALL of our most popular politicians?!"

NEW: DSA's National Political Committee passed two resolutions today aimed at Los Angeles mayoral candidate Nithya Raman, beginning processes that could result in DSA-LA being forced to rescind its endorsement of her this weekend and/or Raman herself being expelled from DSA by January.

Why are our at-large councilors so fucking useless?!

New traffic pattern alert - Starting on Thursday, October 15, Mossland Street will be closed to motor vehicles at its intersection with Elm Street. Mossland Street will become a two-way dead-end street with access for residents and visitors via Somerville Avenue.

Inspiring: local brown man takes job from white supremacist fascists.

A single fucking block. Pathetic.

WBUR@wbur.org

City leaders announced Friday that the intersection of Tremont and Parker Streets will see a “number of street upgrades,” including a bike lane that will be separated from traffic by parked cars. The city will also paint new white lines at nearby intersections.

Lol, their idea of making it safer is... adding more paint.

Z(achary) Yaro@zmyaro.com

The @streets.boston.gov updated #HydeParkAve webpage says, “we will restore a four-lane cross-section with a modified design to maximize pedestrian safety and traffic calming benefits”??? There is no maximizing pedestrian safety without reducing the four-lane cross-section!

Sports is rape culture.

'TNF' looks at Deshaun Watson's season 🏈 📺 Al Michaels: "If you follow football, you know the story ... we don't have to go through the whole Deshaun Watson thing." Kirk Herbstreit: "When you convert on 3rd downs, you hit passes, you lead this team to victories, those boos turn into cheers."

These people get tax exemptions to molest children.

Thank you to Councilor Durkan being the only one for standing up against this slopulism. This city council is so fucking unserious.

This is why I am no longer a Dem. What the fuck are trans people supposed to do when Dems pull shit like this?

Erin Reed@erininthemorning.com

Equality PAC, the campaigning arm of the Congressional Equality Caucus, announced its endorsement of Marcy Kaptur and other anti-trans Dems days after political ads targeting trans people. Even the LGBTQ+ congressional caucus is throwing trans people aside. Subscribe to support our journalism.

The T expects to continue to spend roughly $5 million per month from April 2027 through March 2029 on bus service to cover for the subway and commuter rail systems when tracks close for "derailments, fallen trees, equipment issues" or planned repair work.

Crazy that this is a story but not how we have to replace millions of miles of pavement for cars every year.

The T is going to have to redo millions of $ of accessibility work… @bostonglobe.com @ditikohli.bsky.social www.bostonglobe.com/2026/09/19/m...

Made this because I'm still pissed about how dangerous it is to ride my bike on Cambridge St. We are now 2 months out from promises that were clearly not kept.

Why is Universal Hub the only one properly reporting on this? Erin Murphy does not give one fuck about road safety. All available evidence shows that the driver sped through a red light and the councilor seeks to blame the guerrilla markings that actually make the intersection safer

WBUR@wbur.org

Residents, bike advocates and a Boston city councilor are asking the city to take action after Wednesday's crash in Million Hill, where a driver in a car struck a scooter operator.

A motorist ran a red light and essentially killed 5 people, including a helicopter that crashed that was covering the initial accident in LA. Cars are a scourge to our society.

••IT’S GORGEOUS! Since my first year on the Council we’ve been advocating for a safe crossing and traffic calming on Washington St, in front of the police station, a very busy and dangerous stretch without good crossings.

Well, he got to the right conclusion the wrong way. That's a win, I guess.

Boston Herald@bostonherald.com

The city’s largest police union blasted a new drone safety program being piloted by Boston Police as ineffective and invasive surveillance technology that’s already led to a crash where a drone “destroyed” a car on private property.

You can get away with homicide as long as you are "present and cooperative".

A driver struck and killed Yuk Foo Chan, an 83-year-old West Roxbury resident, while he was riding his bicycle Tuesday evening on Milford Street near the Milford-Medway town line, according to local police. mass.streetsblog.org/2026/09/09/d...

Insane how she posts about this bullshit and not about someone dying on a bicycle on state property.

What a win for the Minutemen! Congratulations on an incredible 37-21 victory over Rutgers to open the season. And what a debut for the 413’s own Pop Watson III. Massachusetts is proud of you! 👏
