Also the con TTRPG experience has convinced me that I need to get serious and make my idle dream of getting back into playing TTRPGs a reality. Thank you @nathanburgoine.bsky.social and @hitpointpress.bsky.social
I have also somehow impulsively promised that I am going to @tricon-hfx.bsky.social next year and do a Priest of Crawling Things launch type event there because con brain should totally get to make these decisions WHEE
Sometimes a turn of phrase just comes to me partway through drafting (or, rarely, at the very beginning - like with the short story "The Mother of All Squid Builds a Library") Other times I just find some words/phrases that have to do with the theme of the story and bonk them together for a while.
How do you go about titling your works? Is it a line? A format you like? Etc #WritingPrompt

Usually people is like "don't have the characters just say how they feel! real people don't talk that way!" and I say they have never met an autistic person HOWEVER I am now discovering that if you do let them be reluctant to say how they feel then this can make a scene 10x more delightfully awkward
