It's Trans Day of Visibility. At this point in my career, I have genuinely lost count of the amount of people who have confided in me that I inspired their own transition in some way. That's indescribably special to me and deeply humbling. Those wonderful people are the reason I'm posting this. 1/5

The cheap hood I scavenged for my car kiiiind of had the texture of sandpaper, so I had to take my baby to a detailer to make my home repairs feel complete.

I haven't had a chance to pick her up yet, but the detailer sent me 30 photos, and at the end included one of her hanging out with some Audi friends, and she looks gorgeous. 🥹 (My 2006 SLK280 has a six CD changer and is like 15+ years older than those fancy Audis but I appreciate the inclusion. 🤣)

Still thinking about how my doctor asked me three times on Wednesday "do you want prep?", and when I clearly had no clue wtf she was talking about nor what we were preparing for, she wrote me down as low risk for HIV/AIDS. 🥴

I was running late to work today when I got flagged down before I even got out of my own neighborhood. A young dude had a dead battery and a girlfriend to get to work. The cool thing about working at a YouTube channel is that it reeeeeally doesn't matter, so I pulled up and jumped him.

I also found out that the absurd hood on my car reaches higher than the hood of a 4Runner. (Cropped it for their privacy)

Within about three seconds of opening these steak bites at the office today I had a new best friend named Poppy! She stayed my best friend for the rest of the recording. 🤭🥰

Took a break just now to finish writing what I started at the office today. I recently bought a completely offline little word processor to totally avoid social media and AI while I write lyrics for songs. It has been SO HELPFUL.

To improve my flow I'm challenging myself to write short lyrics for songs (so poems I guess 🤣) every day of October. Here was today's! 🥰

Y'all havin a good Sunday? I am. 🥰 My favorite part was talking to a distressed lovely middle-aged lady, Lucy, at the automotive service Center in the back of a Walmart. 🧡

The person before me was yelling at Lucy for something she had no part in. After the woman stormed out, Lucy grumbled that that was the 6th person today to yell at her. She was visibly upset and anxious.

I was her second to last customer for the day. By the end of our conversation she was doubled over with laughter, smiling and at ease. That made me really happy, too. 🥹 I hope you have a better night Lucy.

Last night while playing Overwatch with @violetfox.bsky.social, I heard a noise on my desk. A lizard had jumped on top of my Mountain Dew can. 🥹 After deciding he dislikes soda, he leapt to my lil music screen and took a nap for a few hours while we kept playing. He was lovely company! 🥰

I just saw a comment on yesterday's episode that there were way too many ads. THANK YOU to that person! 🥰 The culprit was YT's auto ad system which enables by default. I always put ads about 7 mins apart, and everyone else at the channel is similar. Look at the difference! 😱

It's wild how often my commute is this heckin' rainy. 😍😮 Is it weird that I enjoy it? I'm kinda dubious about the hazards people use, though. It disables their turn signals. 🫠 (I have AWD, decent tires for rain, and a widened stance, but I was 10mph under the speed limit myself.)
