What a week for Bournemouth, now 5-0 up on aggregate against footballing giants Man Utd and AC Milan. Please don’t research either of those big clubs, everything is fine for both

this is great. I think Scott is even landing a bit on the conservative side in the piece regarding how "good" the attack is - essentially across competitions it's been a side that takes a pretty good number of very good shots. And I see the ranks improving as the season goes on

Arsenal’s attack isn’t ‘ELITE’ but it is better than mediocre - Hyperbole and negativity rules the day online but that doesn’t mean that we have to accept that framing www.cannonstats.com/p/arsenals-a...

if i'm being honest i'm relieved at a 6-8 week timeline for Saka. Had been hoping for him back by City but if he's back to relatively full fitness a touch before the holidays, that feels good on the whole. Would be about 7-8 league matches and 3 in the CL, we've got the juice to survive that

A couple of encouraging outings for Noni leading up to this moment, fingers crossed he can rise to the occasion again. Ideally with some improvement on the final ball front

This is why Arsenal added Noni Madueke - The Saka injury presents an opportunity for the frustrating winger to show that he can provide an impact www.cannonstats.com/p/this-is-wh...

the only Saka injury analysis you need today is Tim's take that it's a "big old kick in the swingers." discussion over

Tim Stillman ⭐️⭐️@tim-stillman.bsky.social

Far less erratic (imo). Saka’s injury is a big old kick in the swingers but I wouldn’t be surprised if Noni comes out of it pretty well.

having been on Twitter I know there are a mountain of "Arteta ruined Saka" takes around, but we need to collectively embrace the idea that things aren't that simple. guys like Díaz, who only started 27 leagues games last season and has eclipsed 4k mins once, get hurt too bsky.app/profile/fabr...

Fabrizio Romano (MIRROR)@fabrizioromano.yopro20.com

🚨 FC Bayern confirm Luis Díaz suffered a muscle tear in his left hamstring against Arsenal and will be sidelined for the time being.

play more minutes, get more injuries is true in the same way that you're more likely to get a flat tire if you have to drive your car more often. that doesn't mean you should stop driving - better to be as prepared as you can for if/when that day comes. that's what Noni is here for.

I've tried a number of times to push back on this idea that Bukayo Saka has been under some type of unique, unreasonable duress and people largely just don't want to hear it, but put it this way - if your star can't handle playing 45 games every season, they can't be your star. But I think he can

Really happy with the performance overall, we're a positive update on Bukayo away from a near perfect night. If it's not positive, hopefully we can get him back after the next five matches (two he wouldn't start anyway)

there's a reason I spent all summer pointing out every single time France, Argentina etc. struggled against a low block btw time for this narrative to be euthanized, and not painlessly

Adam Rae Voge@adam.cannonstats.com

lol the commentators had spent the last two minutes talking about how Arsenal have struggled "time and time again" to break down a low block

really sucks, i felt like i was in a good place mentally for this game. want to win this one but also not overcommitted to absolutely needing it like it seems most PL games are. injury to anyone let alone Saka is an instant killer

i'm glad i'm on the record saying before the season that I did not get the chatter that Utd would improve and get more points, because these guys are terrible
