Liverpool fan (@AndCouldHePlay7 on the other place & now here too). Actor/voiceover (Adam Stevens). Do stuff like The Anfield Wrap. I have multiple sclerosis but refuse to say I’m a victim of it.

🎥 Liverpool Beat Brighton At Anfield | The Anfield Wrap We are LIVE for our weekly flagship show reacting further to Liverpool's win over Brighton in the Premier League. Beth Lindop hosts Adam Smith, Ian Ryan & Rob Gutmann... 📺 Watch for FREE 👉 bit.ly/4zTEnG3

I cannot tell you how frustrating this is. I am a professional voice actor with a quality home studio. It’s nothing short of laziness from producers & those responsible for the continuity at the BBC.

Laura Marie Brown@laurambrown.bsky.social

Dear BBC continuity and trails, if you are really unable to find someone with a Scouse accent in the north west just give me a bell. I’ve got the mobile numbers of about 800 actual Scouse actors in my phone. Happy to help

“UK government failures led to Covid spreadingạlike wildfire' in care homes, inquiry finds.” Are you trying to tell me that having a privileged blonde moron in charge at the time of the worst pandemic for generations *wasn’t* a successful strategy? Well I never.

For fans of The Diplomat, may I recommend a little TV show called The West Wing….

Liam Thorp@liamthorp.bsky.social

The Diplomat remains one of the most exciting, tense and downright fun shows on TV. Even its daft bits are endlessly enthralling. Great entertainment.

My latest.

The idea that Florian Wirtz has been really poor for #LFC is a narrative that is being driven by Statler and Waldorf in the Sky Sports commentary box, standing up to little scrutiny. He hasn't been perfect, but 9 chances created in one game is great. More: www.andcouldheplay.com/liverpool-fa...

Can someone please do a graph showing the money paid out to every single person on PIP compared to the tax not taken from millionaires and billionaires? It will tell a story about modern Britain. I cannot tell you how fucking impossible they make it to claim PIP. Stop attacking disabled people.

Saul Staniforth@saulstaniforth.bsky.social

Interviewing a govt minister Hazarika shows a graph comparing young people claiming PIP to the size of our armed forces & declares it "tells a story about modern Britain" I can't even make a sarcastic comment about our fearless fourth estate, because Hazarika is a Labour politician

I have never seen coverage of a live trial, one involving allegations of multiple sex attacks on multiple women, framed in a more distasteful way. It's not 'Fame under fire' it's a rape trial. And it involves actual women. And this from the *checks notes* BBC

Sally Rooney is unable to receive loyalties for books sold in the UK because of her support for Palestine Action. At what point is someone going to realise how fucking ridiculous this is? Support a genocide? No worries, crack on with your life. Support a group opposite to genocide? EVIL!!!

Fuck these fucking cunts punching down at every available opportunity. May even one of them have to live with a long-term disability for even one fucking day & realise how fucking difficult that is. Privileged pieces of shit.

Dan Sohege@danielsohege.bsky.social

I see the Times is going full on attack disabled individuals as scroungers and layabouts with no consideration for how PIP is not an "out of work benefit" and how for many it is essential support to actually work and live.

Yep. They’re guilty. That’s a fact. Even if they somehow win their appeal, no one will take it seriously because we all knew what they were up to even before the independent panel’s findings became public. The Premier League now has a massive credibility problem.

Sachin Nakrani@sachinnakrani.bsky.social

Virgil van Dijk doesn’t want to comment on Man City until after their appeal, and this follows Micah Richards calling on talk about City ending until after their appeal. Please, can we get one thing straight: they’re guilty. That’s a fact. It’s fine to say that. www.theguardian.com/football/202...

Sorry, but Sky’s post match interviews being business as usual isnt right. Not saying they should ask the players questions about the guilty verdict - I mean they shouldnt ask them questions at all. Nor should we be treated to City’s players and fans celebrating.

“We can speak about what this means for the game going forward, but we can also admire what they’re doing on the pitch”, says Carragher like they aren’t fucking linked. They’re only doing what they’re doing on the pitch because they cheated. The players aren’t there because they love LS Lowry.

As disappointed as I am, this is probably the perfect result to sum up the sorry state of the Premier League as it stands. We’re watching a sham. The cheats still prosper.

Hard to devise a better metaphor for the past decade and a half of Premier League football than Man City winning while playing with an extra man.

Saw my mate Sam Holmes support Dan Croll at the Jacaranda tonight. Watched him like a proud dad, absolutely smashing it. His song The Storm is one of my absolute favourites. Even though it was written about a mutual ex-girlfriend….

(If you want to listen to it, you can find it on your music player of choice under the name of his band, Night Flight. He’s going solo now though.)

This is obviously really tragic news, but that’s an *odd* headline by the BBC. He jumped into the tiger enclosure. This makes it sound like he was mugged whilst waiting for a hot dog.

Really good joke by Alex Jones on Have I Got New For You. At the end of a segment on Jeffrey Archer she said, “Oh the poor Royals. Two of their favourite Jeffreys gone too soon.”

Think Hannah played a blinder there. Avoided getting banished & also didn’t vote for Julie, which I think looks good for her. Bravo. #CelebrityTraitors

I think my favourite thing about #CelebrityTraitors is that James Blunt looks like your auntie Pauline, who lives with her “friend” Sue.

Had a dream in which someone called ready salted the “non-binary of crisps” and I can’t work out if I’ve heard it somewhere and it’s just worked its way through my brain or if my sub-conscious is a genius.

My latest.

AndCouldHePlay7@andcouldheplay7.bsky.social

There wasn't really anything else I could've written about today but the Man City news. It serves as vindication for those of us that have been calling them cheats for years, but the only thing that matters now is what comes next. Read more here: www.andcouldheplay.com/man-city-ver...

It was my first Bond in the cinema, so I’m always going to be predisposed to love it, but GoldenEye was such the perfect way to launch a new Bond. All of the aspects of the 007 franchise are in place, it’s got a good sprinkling of comedy & great action set pieces. I love it.

The Uprising is a depressing watch. A reminder of how close we came to ridding ourselves of the monarchy but, ultimately, too many people in this country are snivelling little shits, desperate to kowtow to someone based on nothing but the fortune of their birth.

More importantly, it is arguably the case that Guardiola would never have gone to Manchester City in the first place were it not for the wrongdoing that enabled the entire structure of the club to be ready made for him to be parachuted into.
