x update: I stopped using twitter for posting for a while, but I still found myself periodically looking as there are people on it that are not here. It is, unfortunately, more toxic than ever. I have therefore deleted my x account. So there is no going back and I feel better for it #x #twitter

And yet Joe Rogan puts guests on who say "Vaccines aren't actually responsible for the reduction in infectious diseases.”

Interesting that when asked what their main concerns were, as voters went to the polls in the general election, immigration sits at a low 6%. A handy stat to have in your pocket for far right agitators. Disappointing to see climate change at 4%. #GE24

I've been using this for a week now and I feel that I have eventually found a genuine replacement for Twitter/X Some impressive people from science and politics are here. Just waiting for the star trek community to make the move too 😁

Of all of the Irish general elections I've voted in, I find this one.... Meh #ge2024 #ge24

Twitter / X has become increasingly toxic and leaving was inevitable This place seems a tad nicer - I think I'll stay for a while & see what it's like
