The last game I played was #Snowrunner, so... I'd spend a year in some of the most remote regions on Earth, driving gigantic trucks and vibing alone in beautiful wildernesses while hauling massive pieces of cargo... Yeah, I think I can handle that for a year.

It's kinda funny how, knowing I've got a fursuit on the way, I began looking at other species to "try out" in real-time. While at #Anthrocon I looked at various premades and thought, "Yeah, I could be them." As another example, my suit won't be an otter, but he will be an OC I identify closely with.

Fellow authors: no context, the first line of your WIP? Rinn Castor had dozens of loyal, seasoned guards under his employ. All were easily evaded.

Despite the heat/rain, #Anthrocon has been nice so far. I was also pleasantly surprised, and incredibly validated, by the number of artist mutuals who asked if I had any art on display in the Art Show this year. Not enough new material this time, sadly, but I've got ideas for next year... #AC2026

I still have to remind myself that "embracing the process" is how a skill is sharpened. I'm gradually learning the nuances of Unity and Substance, and all these hours spent doing so aren't wasted because I realize I can do more now than I could when I began. Harder still is dealing with impatience.

I'm working on a rewrite of my epic sword-&-sandal fantasy, Auran Legend. It's rather weird how, right when I got a rejection letter for the previous draft, I felt like I already knew the things I had to change, and immediately began writing notes for edits. It's flowing SO much better now.

Steadily getting more serious about this idea as concepts come to me in my free time. Besides Solkai, I've got... modular dino-dragons, electro-kitties, living-stone horses, medically-attuned sneks, "hell goats", trickster jackalopes, cyborg shark-rays, and oviparous rabbit/squirrel/quokka hybrids.

It's the Year of the Fire Horse, and I'm in an active furry #DnD campaign (setting: @heartleafgames.bsky.social's Beast World) where I play an equine Forge Cleric named Ash. First ref is complete, but I'm not entirely satisfied with how he came out so I'm already working on an update.
