Foreign girl, known and loved by some, holding to the ground as the ground keeps shifting

When did we start automatically assuming the worst about each other? I've had a tough three years when it comes to trust, no need to tell me people suck, but how does it help to willfully read the worst into anyone's words?

"AI is going to replace you" girl, AI thinks the Taskmaster series 22 contestants are Chloe Pet, Is This Josh, Mark Watson, Liza Tarbuck and Richard Herring, I think we're safe

I finished Hollywood, Ending today and I loved it in the fullest sense of the word. My favourite bit is when the therapist says, "You donโ€™t have to say anything that makes you feel unsafe," and Kai says, "You donโ€™t understand. Thereโ€™s no going back. You donโ€™t get to feel safe again."

Anyways, life is pretty much an "I'm so tired I could burst into tears at any moment, but at least the sky is beautiful, and I can open the window and look at it for a bit"

LONDON FRIENDS: A month after Fringe now, I still think about one of the jokes from this every time I eat corn. Highly recommended!

ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS IS HUGH After sold out work-in-progress runs at the Edinburgh Fringe and Soho Theatre this summer, Jackman/Phantom comes to Pleasance London for 3 nights this Christmas! It's the perfect deranged festive night out! www.pleasance.co.uk/event/joz-no...

Annie is the perfect musical, I'm so glad it's going back on Broadway. @ Sam Pinkleton, are you opening to casting a 29 year-old brunette to play Annie? Asking for a friend with a lifelong dream

The Sunday revival at the Barbican was actually cancelled because they know I would be too powerful for this world to handle if a two-Sondheim-show day ever became available to me

Bleachers release a new song > it has a lyric comparing interpersonal relationships and war which breaks my heart > I cover it within 48 hours, half due to my love for it and half due to immense commitment to the bit. All that to say, here's the world most foreseeable video for you.

Dolly was my grandma's favourite. She had a massive CD collection, but we always picked Dolly, and she'd ask me to sing louder so she'd hear me in the kitchen. I feel like everyone has a story like that.

(I'm aware that this is not very good, my voice still isn't really back and it's late and I did get a text halfway through. but it is what it is and it's staying up here)

"excuse me, sir, I can tell this is your first time in a theatre, you should know it's not appropriate to rustle a bag of- no, not sweets, CHERRY TOMATOES, and pop them in like grapes at every quiet moment of the play"

This morning the barista in my office building remembered my drink order, and I was really moved because I've never been a regular anywhere that cared enough to do that. Too bad I quit my job and this is literally my last week going there, I feel obligated to tell them so they don't think I died.

When you book tickets to Paddington the musical on the West End the show's promoters ask you to rank your favourite characteristics of Paddington Bear and that is easily the most insane google form I have ever filled out

One Minute Away is about many things, but if you ask me it does a truly excellent job at talking about what it's like to be and feel like a foreigner in London. And if you're like me and your hands get tired holding up a heavy book, you're all out of excuses now that it's out in paperback.

My most recent novel is out in paperback TODAY. As you can see, there's been a dazzling redesign of the cover. Meanwhile the Kindle ebook is 99p all month. For those with no time for books, you can also buy it as a chocolate bar, a roll-on deodorant, or I can WhatsApp you the entire thing.

on the 100th listen I decided my favourite lyric on the new bleachers album is "so you retrace the steps and you dust the path for prints // there's a wasteland in you, is there something you missed?" so here's... something

Jack Anotnoff writing a lyric like "dying is not romantic this young // how could you let me do this alone // glory to the ones who were left, hallelujah" sir just stab me in the heart it would hurt less than this
