That was a crazy game, I kept expecting Trevor Lawrence to do Trevor Lawrence things for the Jags to come up short, he actually did those things and they somehow won anyway.
Charlie Kirk once celebrated a vicious attack on Paul Pelosi, calling the attacker a hero, he was a racist, awful, human being so no I don't have any sympathy for him nor his family for raising such a POS. If it was a left wing activist, he would have called it an acceptable loss.
If people don't want to watch the WWE for ethical/moral purposes then so be it. What I get annoyed with is the concern trolling and the ethically superior attitude that people have about not watching it
Do you actually give a shit about the victims or are you trying to prop up another company?
It's like when the Snydercult brings up James Gunn's tweets, they don't care about the "crime" itself they want to weaponize emotions of the hopes of bringing back a shitty cinematic universe
Republicans don't care about child sex trafficking, they're weaponizing to attack transwomen and gay men
That tag match was booked perfectly. Jelly Roll kept to the basics, hit some power moves and took a sick bump, fun celebrity tag match that got the crowd engaged. Pro wrestling can simply be fun sometimes.
#SummerSlam
Hulk Hogan ruined his own legacy, other wrestlers have done some horrible things, even worse in some ways but they tend to own up to them, have some reflection as they get older and express some sort of remorse. Hogan skirted accountability, basically became even worse overtime
Superman was awesome, saw it in IMAX 3D earlier today. Quite a few emotional beats that didn't feel manipulative, a good amount of action and Corenswet was awesome as a optimistic, hopeful Superman. it's the Superman movie that we need and a good start to the DCU.
The last few. Months have made it pretty clear that a lot of wrestling fans live in a giant wrestling bubble
TKO has 3 billion of debt, they're not 3 billion in debt. Those are two very different things.
Coach, Russo and Hugo know fuck all about what's happening inside TKO
My favorite NXT episodes are the ones like tonight when's just straight up chaos and everything is moving a mile a minute
Evolve, AAA, TNA were all involved tonight, Mariah May surprisingly debuted, a fun 8 man tag match, the main event was really good, the women's division reset, great show
I do think there's legit criticism for a show being too long, a show being way too long can't be the only reason why a show sucks.
NXT Battleground I felt was a good length for a PLE, 6 match card with a interview segment that got physical and it was a little over 2.5 hours that was light on fluff
Damn NXT had a lot of surprised tonight, I can't complain because I don't think they're terrible decisions and sometimes short title reigns can be a good thing.
Jacy winning the women's title does kinda reset the division, Vaquer was starting to feel bigger than the title
Joe Hendry was a great a TNA champ, it'll be interesting to see how Trick does as the outsider holding the TNA world title before he eventually drops it to Santana #WWEBattleground
Also Trick is a world champion, that's just wild.
