Any love to help a poor boy stay out of the peak of this extreme heat warning and cut their bus commute down since they had to go to the valley to work? Worried im not gonna make it home without getting sick

Hey, why don't you and I get out of here and we hit the strip and get real rowdy under this full moon? Would you like that? It was only a matter of time before Werewolf hit my game run, and you'll be in the pack. Join up today!

It's tough out here being a Pro-GM that's demisexual and runs romance games. But tougher knowing that many Women, Trans, NB, and Queer folk do not have tables to pursue romance in TTRPGs safely. I'll give my spoons to hold the space for them.

That shift changes how we see success, takes pressure off decision-making, reinforces their role and responsibility in the story, and challenges them to make interesting choices by setting them up in situations they do not like rather than focusing on emulation and reaction to encounters.

If you care about Korean culture please share this. My friends are working hard and fast to contest the trademark and fight potential litigation over a cultural title. This person and her minions have been misrepresenting our ways for monetary gain for years, allegedly. Now we have proof.

games have been huge success. thats why we're firing every one who makes games. also we are going to make it so players can no longer buy games

Let me tell you, there is a lot of grief in having to practically restart the creative space you took 5 years to build while watching others continue to benefit from it. No amount of pride in what you can accomplish changes the frustration.

A key point in Fahrenheit 451 is that books were banned because they made people depressed and uncomfortable. The novel's protagonist, Montag, is taken into custody after he reads a poem that makes a woman cry because she realizes the emptiness of her life.

I'm not a fan of players asking me what I'll call for skill checks so that they can build their characters around that. I weigh a lot of things when I call skill checks, and it puts unnecessary expectations on me when I don't call the check the way a player wants me to.

because accountability is seggsy, we've raised $340 for Feed The People. That'll feed SO MANY BELLIES; with school out, parents are struggling to keep their kiddos fed. Orgs like Feed the People are absolutely vital in our Black communities.

Hallo, I'm Ghosti. I like making graphics that make my players feel like they're about to watch their favorite TV show. Check some of them out. Hope to see you at the table.

A prospective player asked me how I could handle feeding in a vampire game when blood often sits in my veils for safety. To which I responded: Blood is not what makes a vampire scary.

Combinations of these give weight to unsettling action of feeding without having to describe the blood, extreme violence, or gore, if safety around these themes needs to be considered.

Implication is always more exciting to provide than just telling what happened. Rooting your player characters and the choices made at the table to engaging elements allows them to consider these things in future actions and enrich their roleplay.

Space: Describe the city traffic, or a flock of birds flying away, or a mouse eating scraps in a hole in the wall. How the world reacts to the action in the moment has weight.

Reflection: Have players confront their characters' actions and internal monologues to provide the weight themselves and give the table context for experiencing the scene.

Humanity: No reason not to tell them how monstrous the beast can be and realize it is just them looking at a mirror. Frame it as something that the character is learning about themselves in the moment.

We commonly understand that the core of a kindred is that blood must be consumed to sustain it. So, blood will be in the scene. Instead, I focus on two questions: What can we focus on? How can we enhance the action a player has taken to make it feel monstrous?

Sensory: Describe what the senses take in, the way a sneaker scrapes across tile, how the fragrance from lilies has a way of masking the iron in the air, or how the pressure softens on the hands that were resisting. This indulges the imagination while grounding it in how we process the scene.

So uh, I caught up on Jujitsu Kaisen last week and well, um.... Takakora Academy is looking to enroll students as first-year mages, and you could be on the roster to hone and master your techniques. This is a homebrew campaign set in the Chronicles of Darkness and Mage: The Awakening. Join today!

It never ceases to amaze me the lengths to which unprofessionalism will present itself, and it amazes me further how people forget that I absolutely will stand on business. Who the fuck are you talking to right now?
