Today’s the birthday of Sinéad O’Connor. My heart will always be broken that she’s gone, but I will always love her with every fiber of my being. I took all these photos in Dublin. I’ve been 3 times since 2023. I’ve cried at her grave & have honored her in every way I can think of. ♥️❤️

I may have to MMMBop my way to Thompson's Point on Sunday for Guster on the Ocean. Hanson will be there AND Joy Oladokun. Plus, Guster's "Airport Song" is still a massive banger. Story here: www.pressherald.com/2025/08/04/g...

Truly, this is one of the happiest stories I've ever written. Musician Lucy Dacus married 3 couples on stage during her set at the Back Cove Music & Arts Festival in Portland, ME on Aug. 3. The entire thing was lovely and glorious. www.pressherald.com/2025/08/04/s...

Outdoor summer concert season in Maine starts this weekend, when hitmaker Avril Lavigne kicks things off at the Maine Savings Amphitheater in Bangor on Sunday.

Still 100% reeling over the news that Jill Sobule died in a house fire yesterday. Yes, life will go on. But it won't be the same. Gutted. Just gutted. www.youtube.com/watch?v=6yKq...

Saturday night I'm seeing the living legend ALISON MOYET in Boston. Whipped up a show prep playlist and my excitement is ratcheting up with each song. "All Cried Out" is on at the moment. That segued into Don't Go (Yaz) and those synths make my heart very happy. #alisonmoyet

It's a Tori Amos Boys for Pele kind of afternoon. Happy weekend one and all. xx

This Portland Maine man’s skill is one reason why recorded music sounds so good: Mastering engineer Adam Ayan. Nice article by @aimsel.bsky.social www.pressherald.com/2025/04/21/a...

I was so traumatized by the current episode of "The Last Of Us" that I had to watch "The Handmaid's Tale" to CHEER MYSELF UP. We are living in dark times, both in real life and the television landscape. p.s. no spoiler comments please to respect those who aren't caught up. xx

Just heard that Roberta Flack died. "First Take" is quite an album. She's tremendous. Bless her. www.youtube.com/watch?v=wDUk...

On this very day, Jan. 28, FORTY YEARS AGO, the single GREATEST alternative rock song I've ever known was released. I worship The Smiths (despite problematic present day Morrissey) and these six minutes and 48 seconds are in my DNA. Always. www.youtube.com/watch?v=4PIi...

It began as a regular Monday here in Maine and then I felt the earth, move under my feet.... (minor but still!) As always, I am meeting the moment with a song. www.youtube.com/watch?v=SW3d...

Music is one of my defenses against the dark arts. Now more than ever. So happy Friday. Bundle up, buckle up and climb aboard. Love, Aim xx www.youtube.com/watch?v=ehfi...

Every existential crisis deserves a playlist. I'm meeting the moment with this. open.spotify.com/playlist/2TZ...

I am unreasonably pleased to have found this Carpenters ‘45 single for free at the dump.

I will always be heartbroken over Sinead. Always. But I also will always be thankful that moments like this were captured. www.youtube.com/watch?v=JeIH...

HAPPY 14TH BIRTHDAY SWEET ODIE! Your Mama adores and loves you very much. ❤️

President Jimmy Carter is the first president I remember. Bless him. And may he rest in very sweet peace.
