WIPs this week for #ShowMeYourKnits. I am back working on my CatKnit sweater and the end is finally in sight! I’ve done a bit more since this photo and I’m about halfway through the ribbing. #knitsky #knitting 🧶

#ShowMeYourKnits this week is patterns you’ve knit multiple times. The pattern I’ve made the most is Lucy’s Owl, which I’ve made for multiple niblings (and my own kid). The first two are almost identical since I used the same yarn for the body. #knitsky #knitting 🧶

For Worldwide Knit in Public Day, here’s the Musselburgh hat I’ve been knitting at soccer games and swim lessons (shown on my lap, poolside), just after I looked at it and realized no one’s head is that big, and just before frogging the whole thing. #knitsky #ShowMeYourKnits #knitting 🧶🐸

Blanket week for #ShowMeYourKnits, so I’ll dive deep into the archives of my knitting past for this baby blanket I knit for a kid who’s turning 13 (!) this year. #knitsky #knitting 🧶

WIPs for #ShowMeYourKnits this week. I am so close to finishing the colorwork on this sweater! Pattern is Catknit Pullover by Andrea Rangel. #knitsky #knitting 🧶

Oh my, thanks everyone! I am very excited about this sweater. When I saw the pattern I knew I needed to make it, even though I was intimidated by fingering-weight colorwork! If it doesn’t fit I might cry

Endless stockinette in this fingering weight Musselburgh for #ShowMeYourKnits this week! This is my go-to project for watching my kid’s spring soccer games. It’s going faster than expected. I’m using Knit Picks Chroma fingering. #knitsky #knitting 🧶

Wearing my knits for #ShowMeYourKnits! I have a tendency to only go to the ocean when it’s cold, so here is a sunset selfie wearing a hand-knit hat. “Piles of Pistachio” is the pattern, yarn from Twisted Caster. #knitsky #knitting 🧶

#ShowMeYourKnits is cables this week. I think I’ve shown all my cable projects before except for these elbow-length cabled mitts! Pattern is arden, yarn is Malabrigo Worsted. #knitsky #knitting 🧶

Colorwork for #ShowMeYourKnits! Here are some dragon mitts I made for my kid. Pattern is Smaug Mittens and yarn is Knit Picks Stroll. #knitting #knitsky 🧶

Coming back to #ShowMeYourKnits after a hiatus, and the theme this week is green. I really like green but somehow don’t have a lot of green projects. Here’s a baby sweater I knit over a year ago. It’s the Sunnyside cardigan, knit in Cascade Heritage 150. #knitsky #knitting 🧶

I shared a hat last week but I can share another! Here’s “Braineater” by Vi Caughran. I ran out of the blue yarn so it ended up as a bunch of disembodied tentacles. #ShowMeYourKnits #knitsky #knitting 🧶

Autumn knits is this week’s theme for #ShowMeYourKnits. I have shared this before but I think it’s my most autumnal knit. Pattern is Cushman by Amy Herzog, and yarn is Rowan RYC Extra Fine Merino DK. #knitsky #knitting 🧶

Scarf week for #ShowMeYourKnits. I took out a few scarf-y things and noticed my Bigger on the Inside scarf has a moth hole (😢). Into the mending bag it goes. #knitsky #knitting #scarves 🧶

It’s sweater week for #ShowMeYourKnits, so here’s one I don’t think I’ve shared before. This is Nydia by Vanessa Smith knit in Rowan Cashsoft DK. The color is actually more of a sage green in person. The lighting makes it look tan here. #knitting #knitsky 🧶

Stripes for #ShowMeYourKnits. A pair of socks using Knit Picks Felici. I only had one 50g skein so I didn’t try to make the stripes match up, in order to use every bit of yarn. This is a basic toe-up sock pattern that I modified with tiny cables. #knitsky #knitting 🧶

Shawls week for #showmeyourknits. I knit a lot of shawls but I’ll just feature one today: this was a Stephen West MKAL several years ago. Pattern is Shawlography and it’s knit in Tosh Merino Light. #knitsky #knitting 🧶

Garter stitch for #ShowMeYourKnits? I’ve got garter stitch! Here’s one example, the Lintilla scarf/shawlette from Martina Behm, knit in Knit Picks Stroll Gradient. #knitsky #knitting 🧶

I don’t knit frequently with yellow, and apparently even when I do I don’t usually bother to get a good FO photo. I did find one! Pattern info in alt text. #ShowMeYourKnits #knitsky #knitting 🧶

I’ve been knitting in public all week but I don’t have any photos for #showmeyourknits !My profile photo is me knitting in public, at Deception Pass State Park. This week I knit at a cafe, my kid’s orchestra concert, swimming lessons, and the mall. #knitsky

I keep forgetting to share a cowl for #ShowMeYourKnits this week, but I wanted to sneak one in before the next prompt! Here’s my Bertha’s Mad, Mysterious Möbius cowl. #knitsky #knitting 🧶

This week’s prompt for #ShowMeYourKnits is blankets. I’m not a huge fan of knitting blankets, but I have made a couple of baby blankets. Here’s an OpArt I made for my son (10 years ago!) #knitsky #knitting 🧶

WIPs this week! I’m knitting a stuffed owl. It’s purple, so I guess it would have worked last week too. This is for my niece and it’s the fourth owl I’ve made! I’ve knit the body and one wing so far. #ShowMeYourKnits #knitting #knitsky 🧶

Finished socks! I’m trying out different sock knitting techniques to see which I like best. These are my first two-at-a-time toe-up socks using magic loop. I used a free knit picks pattern for basic instructions and added 4x2 ribbing with a single cable. 🧶 #knitsky #knitting

Shout out to The Nifty Knitter in Issaquah, WA for #ShowMeYourKnits! I don’t have a picture of the store and I couldn’t find them on Bluesky, but here’s a baby sweater I made with yarn I bought there! 🧶 #knitsky #lysday

This week’s theme for #ShowMeYourKnits is gifts. I’m about to cast on for a stuffed owl for my niece, so here’s the one I made for her sister. Pattern is Lucy’s Owl. Yarn is mostly Caron simply soft with some mystery bits from stash. #knitsky 🧶

I don’t knit much in grey, maybe because I live in the PNW and it’s grey outside all the time? The first socks I knit were grey. Here’s a picture of them and one of a grey shawl for #showmeyourknits. Info in alt text. 🧶 #knitsky

Thanks to everyone who voted! I didn’t win, but I enjoyed knitting my Clapotis and seeing everyone’s interpretations. Kate’s entry is beautiful, very well-deserved win!

This post is unavailable.

My chunkiest projects for this week’s #ShowMeYourKnits prompt are probably these two I completed last fall. I’ve shared the sweater here before but not the hat. The sweater is Ursa by Jaq Cieslak and the hat is Flamin’ by Alison Jarvis (it glows in the dark!) #knitsky 🧶
