Does anyone have experience taking the medication Lyrica. It was prescribed to me after 1.5 year of relentless chronic pain, but I'm so scared to take it. I've never taken anything similar (e.g medication that affects nerve regulation, mood, etc) & I'm scared of the withdrawal thing

It also feels like I still don't know why I have this constant inflammation. Doctors tell me that my nerve response is too high vs visible symptoms... so it feels like a bandaid. But I've been in pain for so long.
