I work in federal spaces and got an email stating that everyone has to use the bathroom and locker rooms of their biological sex based on the EO. I wish I could create a coalition of people that just started using whichever bathroom treating them all like unisex bathrooms like the EO requires.

I have decided to stop using or accepting the phrases “we are in a coup” or “we are heading for a coup/constitutional crisis” and similar. Because we aren’t. The coup is over. It happened. We either accept it and go on with life or we take the government back. I feel calmer.

The president issued an EO and stated that the Dept of Ed will no longer manage special education. But the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) can barely go a few sentences without providing specific requirements for the Sec of Ed or offices in the Dept. of Ed. An EO won't do it.
