Unpopular... but I actually had a great experience with Cyberpunk 2077 at launch. But since then... A few (of my) hardware upgrades and CDPR working under the hood for years... God DAMN it is buttery smooth now. Incredible how well it runs and how good it looks.

It sucks to say this, but I just finished Cyberpunk Edgerunners 2 and I think it was a (beautiful, but) disjointed mess where the cast and ideas never really coalesced. Cool character designs, some good moments but just... felt like such a mess. Not even close to the first season. Bummer.

Final Fantasy Resonance breaking all-time Steam player record for single player FF games shows us that: - players like turn based JRPGs, not Temu Devil May Cry - PC players want the games at launch, not two years later - Final Fantasy fucking rips

I was too shattered after a day at the office yesterday for much of anything. This morning, 5am, playing as Rain in Final Fantasy Resonance while it bucketed down outside. Beautiful.

It’s good to just do anything Lucy says and immediately wishlist all of these.

Thought you were done with Night City? Well, Night City isn't quite done with you. Patch notes for Cyberpunk 2077’s Edgerunners 2 Update (2.5) are now available for you to ready up and review before going live on the streets tomorrow. Jack in to view the key changes: cp2077.ly/2.5_Patch_No...

It's annoying, isn't it. Tomorrow I'll go to the office. At 5pm, the new Final Fantasy game will come out. I'll then have an hour commute home. But... I probably won't have time to download the new Final Fantasy game before starting my commute home. And that's terrible.

I can already feel while watching the first two episodes that I haven't ABSORBED enough of these episodes and I'll need to watch it again almost immediately. SO. FUCKING. GOOD.

My hot take, as someone that absolutely loves games... is that Steam Next Fest kind of sucks? Lots of really cool indie devs, all competing for attention and especially being drowned out by a load of AI slop. Valve aren't doing enough to curate this event.

I keep seeing cute cosy content on social media of people wearing hoodies and playing Fortune’s Weave handheld. I’m very ready for Final Fantasy Resonance to be that for me - I’ve already got the hoody.

Autumn fucking rules, man. Ran 5km in the freezing cold. Then sat on the porch in glorious sunshine. Now I’m cooking, candles are lit and it’s raining outside. Just all the best things, isn’t it.
