"Stop the Steal" organizer Ali Alexander, who claimed to have been involved in efforts to overturn Lula's 2022 election victory (www.mediamatters.org/ali-alexande...), has called for people to "declare war on the government of Brazil" & to "setup a blockade" in response to Lula's 2026 reelection.

Yesterday, the podcast of MAHA Action, a group closely tied to RFK Jr., had on Mikki Willis, the conspiracy theorist behind the viral COVID misinformation "Plandemic" video, during which Willis falsely suggested no one died from COVID. MAHA President Tony Lyons in turn lauded "Plandemic" & Willis.

In response to RFK Jr. & Tulsi Gabbard's Senate confirmations, Mikki Willis, the conspiracy theorist behind the viral COVID misinfo "Plandemic" video, wrote that he's "been working with RFK Jr. & Tulsi Gabbard for over a decade, collaborating on media productions," & "travel[ed] with both" of them.

On Dr. Drew's podcast yesterday, former Fox News figure Eric Bolling criticized fellow former Fox News figure Andrew Napolitano for endorsing Michigan Democratic U.S. Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed, calling Napolitano's endorsement "insanity" & accusing him of having "Trump Derangement Syndrome."

Yesterday, fellow election deniers Mark Cook & Joe Oltmann really went after each other on Oltmann's podcast, with Oltmann accusing Mark of going "after Tina Peters" (though Cook's supposedly aided Peters) & calling Cook a "liar" & a "little pompous ass," & Cook threatening to "expose[]" Oltmann.

Alex Kaplan@alkapdc.bsky.social

Yesterday, on his Gateway Pundit podcast, Wayne Allyn Root — who's pushed for a national emergency for elections & says he texts with Trump — told fellow election denier Mark Cook he'd send to Trump Cook's self-proclaimed "stuff that will, I think, make a big difference in having a fair election."

On a podcast this week, Eric Orwoll, the leader of the whites-only community Return to the Land, said that "we've actually had some guys, mostly in house races, actually, like state house races, actually get through in the last primaries. Not like RTTL guys, just guys in the movement."

On a podcast on a Proud Boys-affiliated channel yesterday, white nationalist organization Patriot Front founder Thomas Rousseau said the organization has "been active in quiet networking with & in supporting candidates," from "small city commissioner positions all the way up to congressional runs."

On a QAnon-affiliated podcast yesterday, Shelby Busch — a 2024 RNC delegate & leader of the election denial organization We the People AZ Alliance — baselessly claimed that 2012 GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney "was actually part of the voting machine fraud."

This is not the first time Trump has amplified a fake pro-Trump Denzel Washington quote. He previously did so in 2019 (www.rawstory.com/2019/12/trum...). Trump has also spread a hoax/false claim from this specific "Red Eagle" social media account previously. bsky.app/profile/alka...

The Washington Post@washingtonpost.com

President Trump posted a fabricated quote from Denzel Washington on his Truth Social page, the actor’s team confirmed. In the quote, Washington purportedly says he has “never met anyone braver, smarter, or who cares more about America” than Trump.

New White House press secretary Katie Zacharia appears to have been a follower of QAnon figure Jon Herold (known online as "Patel Patriot"), whose "Devolution" conspiracy theory — which claimed Trump was secretly still in power — was popular within the QAnon community after Biden took office.

The day Savin claimed these White House meetings happened also appeared to be the same day Trump met with Tina Peters.

Last week, Arizona GOP state Representative Rachel Keshel briefly appeared on a QAnon-affiliated podcast alongside her husband, election denier Seth Keshel. During Rachel Keshel's appearance, Seth Keshel asked viewers to donate to her reelection campaign.

NEW from me: A comprehensive list of key election denial activists in the right-wing ecosystem. These activists regularly appear in right-wing media to promote their work & boast of ties to Trump, urging him to get rid of voting machines, ban mail-in ballots, & declare a national emergency.

A few days ago, Georgia State Election Board Vice Chair Janelle King had Georgia election denier Garland Favorito on her podcast, telling him she "love[s] ... that you give us the full picture" & defending him being called a conspiracy theorist, saying, "You should all be conspiracy theorists."

On her show today, LindellTV host Emerald Robinson had on Peter Brimelow, the founder of the white nationalist organization VDARE, where Robinson told Brimelow that he was "the regular OG of cancel culture." She also said that she had previously attended an event at Brimelow's West Virginia castle.

RFK Jr., while speaking at a recent event that aired on the podcast of MAHA Action — an organized closely linked to RFK Jr. — said "people ... will be building monuments" to "people like [Andrew] Wakefield, ... Barbara Loe Fisher, Lyn Redwood, & Mary Holland," all of whom are anti-vax figures.

Alex Kaplan@alkapdc.bsky.social

This week, Andrew Wakefield, the godfather of the modern anti-vax movement, went on the podcast for MAHA Action, an organization closely tied to RFK Jr., & credited social media & "alternative media" as among "the most effective mechanisms ... for disseminating the message of this community."

One person who has become important in this Trump-election denier ecosystem who has not gotten much coverage: John Goodman. The Florida activist directly connects those (like Peter Ticktin & Jerome Corsi) behind last year's proposed national emergency EO with Wayne Allyn Root's push for it now.

Here are the election deniers who have spent last year & this year championing online a national emergency declaration. If Trump tries to declare one, these are the figures you'd need to know about who likely played a role in making it happen.

This article contains certain details not previously reported. Among those: -Tina Peters claimed Trump asked her who to pardon. -Peters claimed WH chief of staff Susie Wiles asked her “if I would go over some things that were getting ready to come out” in Trump’s July election fraud speech.

Folks, figures (Wayne Allyn Root, Peter Ticktin) calling for "martial law" are not new. It's part of online calls from a network of election deniers since last year. Ticktin was involved with a proposed 2025 Trump national emergency EO. Root has said his push is basically rooted in that proposed EO.

Election deniers — including Wayne Allyn Root — for months have called for Trump to declare a "national emergency," with some crafting a proposed national emergency executive order that reportedly circulated in the Trump administration. www.mediamatters.org/voter-fraud-...

The specifics of this are in this new article I just published. It's all one story over the course of last year and this year, with many of the same players.

And Seth Keshel claimed that he has “worked many hours with his [Trump’s] staff in the White House helping them understand the election issues.”

This list is based on over a year of regular monitoring of these figures' online activity, particularly their appearances on podcasts.

Basically, if you're trying to determine the specific election deniers who are significant right now (besides just invoking election denial claims on TV or something), this list represents the ones to focus on.

This list includes numerous election deniers who've played a role in claiming ties to Trump & his administration with regards to election denial. It includes those more well known, like Tina Peters & Patrick Byrne, & those less well known but still very important, like John Goodman & Juan O. Savin.

Gregg Phillips, who's been a board member of election denial group True the Vote (& worked in the Trump admin), criticized the national emergency/pausing elections push, noting a president doesn't have "special authority to postpone, cancel, take over, or rewrite the rules for federal elections."

Alex Kaplan@alkapdc.bsky.social

Catherine Engelbrecht, the founder of the election denial group True the Vote, has come out against the national emergency proposal after Wayne Allyn Root pushed it to Trump in an interview, saying there wasn't enough time to implement it & it "should not happen to begin with. States run elections."

A few days ago, Matt Meck, the "chief of staff" for QAnon influencer Juan O. Savin, said on a podcast that he "was texting Secretary Kennedy over the weekend, last weekend," regarding Kennedy being "a speaker on the authentic health side" for Savin's conference next year.

Some in the far right — including True the Vote partner & onetime Trump admin official Gregg Phillips — attacked Fox News for joining outlets in a WH boycott in response to the admin bans of Politico, CNN, & MS NOW, calling Fox "Globalist Deep Staters" who should "go to jail for voter suppression."

On a podcast earlier this month, anti-vax figure Del Bigtree, who was communications director for RFK Jr.'s 2024 presidential campaign, said that he "was the one actually that asked [RFK Jr.] to run for president. I did it four years before he decided to do it."

Alex Kaplan@alkapdc.bsky.social

Last week, Dr. Phil appeared on anti-vax figure Del Bigtree's "MAHA Podcast," where Bigtree thanked Dr. Phil "for all the training that made ... possible" him able to run communications for RFK Jr.'s presidential campaign. (Bigtree had been a producer on Dr. Phil's show.)

Last week, while on a conspiracy theorist's podcast, Rainer Rothfuß, an Alternative for Germany (AfD) member of Germany's parliament, said there could be "a well-coordinated false flag attack" to cause war with Russia, "just like when 9/11 happened," & "nobody will dare to question the narrative."

During an appearance last week on Real America's Voice, election denier podcaster Joe Oltmann appeared to push a 2020 4chan hoax regarding Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts & the 2020 election. John Eastman & Stewart Rhodes also pushed it in recent years. www.mediamatters.org/4chan/viral-...
